- Shoppers can have their Model 3 or Model Y wrapped for $4,000, while the larger Cybertruck costs $4,500.
- All wraps from Tesla include a 12-month warranty for installation issues and a five-year material defect warranty.
Tesla has made its colorful wrap options for the Model 3, Model Y, and Cybertruck, slightly cheaper in the US and now appears able to offer a slew of extra color options. If you own an eligible Tesla and want to make it stand out for the holiday season, now could be a good time to do so. However, you’ll have to live in California or Washington.
Tesla’s wrapping service was launched last year and initially limited to the Model 3 and Model Y with wraps priced between $7,500 and $8,000. It then grew to include the Cybertruck and as of February, there were five color options available for the electric pickup, priced between $6,000 and $6,500.

Now, Tesla has updated its website and confirmed that Model 3 and Model Y wraps are now $4,000 while those for the Cybertruck are $4,500. Curiously, Tesla is no longer advertising a specific selection of colors. Instead, it says that after customers place an online purchase for a wrap, an appointment with a Tesla Advisor will be organized where shoppers can select their color and texture. This presumably means any color will be offered. Tesla notes that all of its wraps are made from polyvinyl chloride and offer matte, satin, and gloss finishes.
Unfortunately, there are just five Tesla Service Centers in the US providing wrapping services. Four are in California, including Costa Mesa, Oceanside, Santa Clara, and West Covina, and the other one is in Seattle, Washington.
Tesla says that the wrap installation typically takes a few days and customers may be provided with a loaner vehicle. All wraps from Tesla include a 12-month warranty for any installation defects and a five-year warranty for material defects. Interested buyers should be aware that Tesla does not wrap door jambs as standard and this is only available for an additional cost. Additionally, Tesla will inspect the paint before fitting the wrap and may direct buyers to have a complete paint correction performed to ensure the surface is absolutely perfect.
