★ How to store:

Let ginger cookies cool completely, and then store them in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days. They may be stored in the freezer for up to one month. If you’d like to freeze balls of cookie dough, you can do that too. Just take them out and bake them according to the instructions in the recipe when the mood for eating ginger cookies strikes!

➡️ Recipe Tips:

  • If you don’t want the criss-cross look, just use the sugared bottom of a glass to press them down slightly before baking.
  • If you bake them on the longer side, they’ll be crunchy. If you bake them for less time, they’ll be softer.

❤️ Why I love this recipe:

  1. Ginger cookies are excellent dunked in milk!
  2. These cookies are a good one for gifting. They’re also a good one for mailing because they’re a little more sturdy than other cookies.
  3. You don’t have to decorate them!
