India defeated Pakistan by 6 runs to register their second win in the ICC T20 World Cup 2024. The victory was scripted by the bowlers, who defended 119 runs in the allotted 20 overs. Jasprit Bumrah was once again the pick of the bowlers. He took three wickets, and the Men in Green managed runs in 113/7 in 20 overs.
Earlier, Pakistan bowled out the Men in Blue for 119 runs in 19 overs. Rishabh Pant (42) and Axar Patel (20) were the top scorers for the Indian team. For Pakistan. Naseem Shah and Haris Rauf took three wickets each.
With two defeats in two games, Pakistan are almost out of the Super 8 stage.
