Kangana Ranaut expresses joy as she leaves for Ayodhya for Ram Mandir Inauguration ceremony

Ahead of the historic event of the Ram temple inauguration on January 22, the preparations in the sacred city of Ayodhya are all in full swing. Earlier, on Wednesday, stars of the iconic TV show Ramayan, actors Arun Govil, Deepika Chikhlia, and Sunil Lahri arrived in the city to mark their presence and witness the grand celebration. Now, Kangana Ranaut has also left for the two-day event.

Kangana Ranaut was spotted at Mumbai airport as she left for Ayodhya to attend the Ram Mandir consecration ceremony that will take place on January 22. The actress, during an interaction with the media, expressed her happiness and was visibly overjoyed. The Tejas actress said, “The grand inauguration of Ram Temple will mark the beginning of a new era.” She added, “The happiness to welcome Lord Ram cannot be described in words. Describing her devotion to Lord Ram, the actress further said, “I feel extremely honoured to be a part of the event and we all are lucky to be witnessing this historic event.”

Earlier, Kangana shared a close-up picture of the Ram Lalla idol on her Instagram stories, and wrote, “I always thought Lord Rama looked like this as a young boy and my imaginations today came alive with this murti (idol)… @arun_yogiral aap dhanya hain (you are blessed).”

In another story, the actress hailed sculptor Arun Yogiraj for bringing the idol alive and posted, “Kaisi sundar aur mann ko moh lene wall ye pratima hai, kitna pressure hoga @arun_yogirai ji pe and aur swayam parmeshvar ko hi patthar mein tham lena kya kahein yeh bhi Ram ki he kripa hai… @arun_yogiraj ji Shri Ram ne aapko swayam darshan diye hain, aap dhanya hain (Such a beautiful, heart-winning idol is this. There must have been a lot of pressure on Arun Yogiraj, who idolised the God himself in stone. These are Ram’s blessings. The God himself appeared in front of you, you are blessed).”

Kangana Ranaut is currently busy with the post-production work of her first directorial Emergency. She will be essaying the role of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in the film. Ahead of the Pran Pratishtha ceremony on January 22, the idol of Ram Lalla was placed in the Garbha Griha of the Ram Temple.
