Notably, Delhi Capitals bought Rossouw for 4.60 crores in the 2023 IPL auction, but he did not perform as expected and got released ahead of the next season. Rilee stated that he hopes DC and KKR will bid for him in the mini-auction.

“I don’t have a specific preference at the moment. I had a great experience with Delhi Capitals last year, and we had a strong team bond. However, I also performed well with the Knights in the American League. It would be exciting if there was some competition in the bidding process. Ideally, a bit of a bidding war would be favourable for me,” expressed Rossouw during an interview with Hindustan Times at the Abu Dhabi T10 event.
