Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) batter Virat Kohli was in jubilant mood after Mohammed Siraj dismissed dangerous Shahrukh Khan in the IPL 2024 match against Gujarat Titans at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The 35-year-old gave a fiery send-off to to the GT batter.
The incident happened in the 15th over of the Gujarat innings when Siraj provided a much needed breakthrough as the reverse-swinging delivery shattered the stumps.
Siraj was happy, while Kohli was seen giving Khan a send-off from the boundary rope.
Shahrukh’s departure ended 82-run partnership between him and Sai Sudharsan, with the two coming together after Shubman Gill and Wriddhiman Saha were dismissed.
Meanwhile, the Royal Challengers registered their third win in IPL 2024 as they thumped Gujarat Titans by 9 wickets. Chasing 201, the visitors won the contest by 9 wickets.
Will Jacks scored a century off 41 balls, while Virat Kohli managed 70 off 44 deliveries. The legendary cricketer has compelled 500 runs in this season.
