Chennai Super Kings captain Ruturaj Gaikwad has won the toss and elected to bowl first against Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the Indian Premier League 2025. “We are better prepared for dew this time around. It hasn’t arrived yet, but you never know, as dew can impact the image on any given day. I want our bowlers to be more aggressive and batters more clinical,” Ruturaj Gaikwad said on Star Sports.
Royal Challengers Bengaluru captain Rajat Patidar would have bowled first had he won the toss. “We would have bowled first as well, but it doesn’t make much of a difference. The surface is hard and it is important to put runs on the board and bring them under pressure. You have to be at your best in every game in IPL. The bowlers did a fantastic job in the last game, especially from the 13th over. The opening partnership was good for us,” Rajat Patidar said.
