Gujarat Titans captain Shubman Gill won the toss and elected to bowl first against Punjab Kings in IPL 2025. “It is a good wicket, but we have seen dew in the past few days. The preparations have been amazing, and we have covered all the bases. We missed this aspect last season, and we have our combination right now. We are fortunate to play in the biggest stadium in the world,” Shubman Gill said on Star Sports.
Punjab Kings captain Shreyas Iyer would have bowled first as well. “I would have loved to bowl first as it is a fresh wicket. I love to chase and face challenges. I have worked with Ricky in the past, and I know what he thinks. We have prepared well, and I am happy with our combination. We are spoiled for choices,” Shreyas Iyer said.
