Sri Lanka will compete against India in the three-match T20I series. Sanath Jayasuriya is the interim coach of the host nation after failure in the ICC T20 World Cup 2024.
To improve their performance, Sri Lanka hired Zubin Bharucha, RR’s director of high performance.
Sanath Jayasuriya revealed that Bharucha, who played a significant role in Yashasvi Jaiswal’s growth, conducted a six-day workshop with the Sri Lankan players, who were told about the new techniques.
“All the players are playing in the IPL, and we wanted them to get game time,” Sanath Jayasuriya was quoted by PTI.
“We brought Zunbin from Rajasthan Royals, and he was with the players for six days. I hope the players have gained knowledge from him in terms of technique and practice. It is important to keep learning about new things,” he added.
