Virat Kohli is back in the Test team after a long time, having played his previous game against South Africa in January. He missed the five Test matches against England to be with his wife, Anushka Sharma, who was expecting their second child in London.

Former India player Ajay Jadeja feels Virat doesn’t need matches to score runs as he is aware of what is to be done when you are coming back after a long absence.

He also spoke about Virat Kohli’s leadership, saying the veteran doesn’t need captaincy to lead the team and leave his mark.

“Virat Kohli is a born leader and doesn’t need captaincy to lead the team. In the T20 World Cup 2024 final against South Africa, he batted like a leader when his team was in trouble.
