After stumps on day 3, Australia were 187/6, and Pat Cummins and Alex Carey stated the proceedings on day 4. In a rare instance, the two batters ran an all-run five without the help of any boundary or no-ball.

The instance occurred during Aamer Jamal’s bowling when Pat Cummins pushed the ball towards cover and ran a couple of runs. Meanwhile, the fielder at the non-striker’s end failed to collect the ball, and it went for an overthrow. Imam-ul-Haq was quick enough to save it from going for a boundary, but Cummins & Carey ran three more runs to add five runs off a single delivery.

“Have you seen this before? An all-run FIVE (with help from overthrows, of course),” wrote Cricket Australia on their Twitter handle. Here is the video of the incident.
