India National Cricket Team player Virat Kohli has hogged all the limelight in Australia. The batter failed to score big in the first innings of the second Test at the Adelaide Oval. However, he was pumped up and sledged the Aussie batters. After the end of every over, the star player took on Marnus Labuschagne and Nathan McSweeney, taking a dig at them for missing the balls. He also lifted the confidence of his teammates and even helped Rohit Sharma in field placements.
Kohli went to Mohammed Siraj a couple of times to tell him about the line and length he needed to bowl under lights.
He also tried the bail flip trick to take a wicket. Jasprit Bumrah was supposed to bowl the 31st over of Australia’s innings, and Virat flipped the bails before the first delivery. However, it didn’t work, and Marnus McSweeney remained unbeaten.

Virat Kohli scored 7 runs and his dismissal started another batting collapse in red-ball cricket. He couldn’t handle Mitchell Starc, who took 6 wickets.
India were bowled out for 180, with Nitish Kumar Reddy scoring 42.
Virat followed the same trick against South Africa in 2023. It worked in India’s favour as Jasprit Bumrah dismissed Tony de Zorzi after Kohli’s act.
This was started by England pacer Stuart Broad, who managed to get rid of Marnus Labuschagne during the Ashes in 2023.
